Positive aspects:
It is very easy to get to as you just have to walk across the road from the airport arrival hall. There is also direct train line into the centre of Vienna.

Negative aspects:
It would be better if the coffe shop stays open at least till after midnight

Positive aspects:
Location! This hotel is right at the airport,and walking distance from the rental car return.We did not have a lap top with us, we just walked over and got our boarding pass the evening before our flight, and did a little last minute shopping in the airport.We were able to scout out exactally were we had to go in the morning and did not waste any time the next day. We had an upgraded room and were very pleased with it.(Very modern and everything we needed.) Just walking down the halls and seeing in some rooms that were being cleaned we could see that there are two types of rooms, some older and tired looking in decor.

Negative aspects:
We had dinner in the hotel and found the menu a bit expensive. We had the buffet and although adequate, not great food, but at least we didn't have to go off site for a meal.

Positive aspects:
Better than expected. The staff is friendlier and seem helpful. They don't act like they're doing me a favor, like another hotel (during aprevious stop over) in Vienna's center. I didn't get the "Oh no! A dumb uncultured American" vibe, I've recieved in other places. The mini bar was well stocked, and TV was great. I liked watching channels from different cultures and langauges. That night, I just got in from Odessa, so it was nice to keep my Russian skills in check. The restraunt was really nice and the food was good. I had my first Schintzel in years. The Austrian beer is excellent. That tall glass was a nice way to wash my meal down. At first I was just going to take the usual taxi ride to a hotel in the city. The Airport hotel seemed to pricey. However, this was my 4th time stopping in Vienna, and I just wanted to rest. All I had to do was cross the street, and there I was. When I walked in the lobby, I was almost overwhelmed at the atmosphere. There were no problems getting my key, and going to my room. The receptionists seemed much freindlier that I've had downtown.

Negative aspects:
Nothing really worth crying about. WHen I went to the bar, the bar tender seemed to keep wandering off, or spending a good deal of time in the back. I joked with another patron that I thought he was hiding. When he did come back to his post, he was very attentive and helpful, so it's not a big deal. Many Americans throw a fit if they can't get something in a nanasecond, but I was just there to kick back.

we had 2 rooms last stay - BOTH rooms had problems in bathrooms !! 1 toilet kept running - both sinks ( 2 rooms) did not empty properly ( drain)
