Positive aspects:
Excellent location, just at the corner of the Schoenbrunn Park and Palace, 50 meters away from the entrence into one of the most beautiful parks in the world. When booking, ask - if avaliable - for the rooms on the 2nd floor and higher at the front side, overlooking the park. Don't worry about the trafic noise, the windows provide perfect isolation, and the rooms are airconditioned. If you like the smell of the past and the atmosphere of the past times of the Monarchy and the Emperor Franz Josef, than this hotel is the perfect place. Parking is secured for a good rate (14 Euros per day) at the public parking place just across the street. Coffee or tea self-service is avaliable at all times in the lobby!!!!

Negative aspects:
I wish the breakfast was served later than 10 am, but that's my problem with the most of the hotels in the world. Also, there is no internet connection in the rooms, but there is a very nice corner in the lobby, with the computer online, or with the cable for your laptop.

Very friendly customer service. Free street parking around hotel. Access to Schoenbrunn Park across the street. Subway very close.

Clean and quiet despite being on a main road; close to the S-bahn and Schonbrunn itself. Helpful staff, which was very useful.

Negative aspects:
It was not what I expected of a 4-star hotel based on this rating in the UK and France. The price was realistic.
