Built as a normal apartment-house at the beginning of the 20th century and recently completely renovated, the Fürstenhof hotel is one of the last really old family-owned hotels in Vienna that offers traditional hospitality and special friendly atmosphere. It is ideally situated for all means of public transportation at the corner of Vienna's main shopping street Mariahilferstraße, and opposite the western railroad station Westbahnhof.

The hotel rooms are equipped with a bathroom with bath or shower (most of the rooms), telephone, mini-bar, cable-TV and modem connection on request.

There are small singles or doubles without shower and toilet for those who like to spend their money rather on a good glass of wine or a "Wiener Schnitzel" instead of paying for an expensive hotel room. Naturally, there is a bathroom on each floor available without any fees.

The hotel offers breakfast-buffet from 7 am to 12 am - a special service for our night owls.

Nearby there are good restaurants and 3 parking facilities.

The hotel accepts major credit cards.

Location

The hotel is situated at the corner of Vienna's main shopping street Mariahilferstraße, and opposite the western railroad station Westbahnhof.

Directions
If you arrive from the A1 (western motorway), you go straight ahead until you reach the Guertel. There you turn left (direction "Westbahnhof"). Right after you cross Mariahilferstrasse you see our hotel on the right side. There is a bus-stop 15m (450 feet) behind the Hotel where you can stop to unload your car and check in.
Generally we recommend not to drive by car in Vienna, because parking space is rare, and the public transport system is nearly perfect.
